Description
Knowing that some suicides are unpreventable, and that there is more vulnerability for another suicide in families where one has occurred, KCSAPP will link survivors to resources in the community for support from organizations that focus on trauma such as the Trauma Support Network and to local support groups such as Suicide Awareness and Survivor Support.

KCSAPP will develop printed materials for survivors of a suicide death giving information regarding the grief and trauma process and a list of local and national resources for support and comfort.

Survivors of a suicide death will find support and education about trauma and new support systems will be created as needs arise.
